Trust & Security

Trust built into every interaction.

LawyerSOS handles people's most sensitive moments. Our security posture, privacy practices, and solicitor verification reflect that responsibility.

Verified solicitor onboarding

Every solicitor's practising certificate is cross-checked against the Law Society of Ireland, the SRA, or the equivalent register before they can take a case.

Encrypted evidence vault

Evidence is stored in private buckets and encrypted at rest (AES-256). Only you and your assigned solicitor can access your case files.

Chain of custody

Every upload, view, and access event is logged with timestamps and reference IDs so evidence stands up to scrutiny if it ever needs to.

Recording consent

Sessions are only recorded when both customer and solicitor consent. Decline is one tap — the call continues normally.

GDPR-first architecture

Built on EU-resident infrastructure with strict data minimisation, role-based access, and a clear lawful basis for every category of data we process.

EU data residency · Dublin

Customer data is stored within the European Economic Area. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without an appropriate safeguard.

Role-based access

Customers, solicitors, and admins see different views of the platform. RLS policies enforce this at the database level — not just in the UI.

Audit-ready records

Sensitive actions write to an immutable audit trail available to admins for compliance reviews.

Resilient infrastructure

Hosted on managed EU infrastructure with TLS in transit, encrypted backups, and 24/7 monitoring.

Modern authentication

Email + password with Google OAuth today. SSO and biometric unlock for the mobile vault are on the roadmap.

LawyerSOS is not a law firm.

Legal advice is provided by independent, qualified solicitors regulated in their own jurisdiction — including the Law Society of Ireland, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (England & Wales), the Law Society of Scotland, or the Bar of Northern Ireland. The platform connects you to those professionals securely; it does not provide legal advice itself.

In a life-threatening emergency

Always call 112 / 999 first. LawyerSOS is a legal protection service — it is not a substitute for emergency services.
